GOOD MORNING ALL, HAPPY FRIDAY! It's a gloriously sunny morning here in London - its may be baltic outside (I think we're hovering somewhere around the one degree mark), but it's a beautiful day; the air's clear, the sun's shining - a perfect morning for sipping hot coffee outside Gav's (our local coffee stall), watching the  steam roll off our cups and indulging in a bit of Friday chatter about our current hot topic of the day, Facebook. You can't move in our industry at the moment - or in the press in general for that matter - for chat about the Facebook IPO.

Shareagift Chipping in for UK MPs
If you've had an eye on the UK press this week you might have stumbled across a deliciously daft story about UK politicians complaining about the catering in the Houses of Parliament. Chief among the culinary offenders were dry fishcakes, tough thick cut salami and, heaven forbid, badly arranged chips (that's French fries for our American audience). Now that the British press have caught wind of our esteemed representatives catering complaints, they've done what they do best and really gone to town on the absurdity of the situation.

Cash or Cashmere for Christmas?
So, we did a little test run last week and asked a few of the girls out there what gift they actually really want this Christmas? If our first three responses are anything to go by it seems the answer to that it - cash, cash and cashmere! What DO us girls really want?  It's that age-old adage that boyfriends, brothers, fathers and grandfathers have been baffled over for years now.  Personally I think we've cleared that up nicely - the answer is cut and dried - we just want what we want.
